Children’s Miracle Network
My involvement with the Miss America Organization includes working closely with the Children’s Miracle Network. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, which use the money where it’s needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. When a donation is given it stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is helping local kids.
A donation given in the Hoosier state will benefit Riley Hospital for Children. Riley is Indiana’s only comprehensive children’s hospital, with pediatric specialists in every field of medicine and surgery. Riley Hospital for Children is also the state’s leader in community education and advocacy for children.
My personal goal this year is to raise $500.00 for this cause. The money I raise will benefit both Children’s Miracle Network and the Miss America Scholarship Fund.
